As the Lufthansa Group Multi Task Agent Station, you will perform the following duties:
- Provide customer care and sales-information to customers (incl. Miles & More customers)
- Calculating and issuing tickets incl. re-issues
- Issuing of PEVs
- Process refunds, TODs, replacement documents and excess luggage
- Carry out all check-in procedures in accordance with the appropriate guidelines
- Carry out boarding, incl. gate-closing tasks
- File passenger irregularity reports
- Taking appropriate measures in case of load- and trim critical flights
- Carry out last minute changes
- Provide information and assistance in connection with all customer concerns during normal & irregular operations
- Provide assistance to passengers with special needs
- Follow required safety and security procedures in accordance with all company guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Takeover of additional tasks when is required
The ideal Lufthansa Group Multi Task Agent Station must fulfill the following requirements:
- Intermediate school qualification (e.g. GCSE-level) and completed vocational training in the commercial field or service industry
- Numeracy
- Fluent knowledge of English language, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of German language desirable
- Good general education
- Driving license PC-skills preferred
- Diligent and systematic approach to work and ability to work on own initiative
- Desire to give excellent service
- Salesmanship and negotiation skills
- Ability to make ad-hoc decisions
- Suitability for shift work and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to deal with conflict
- Social skills
- Team player
- Well groomed appearance
- Good linguistic skills
- Poss. psychological aptitude test
- Must possess a legal work permit in Egypt
